Blue Snowball Microphone Blue Snowball Microphone and Mixcraft 5.2?
Okay, so i'm trying to record my voice, but the track seems to be louder than my voice. So, I tried turning the track down, but then you can't really understand what I'm saying and I'm speaking pretty clear so I don't understand why it's not recording loud and clear. My voice is somewhat deep, so when i get too close to the mic, it makes a vibrating sound sort of after it's mixed down to an mp3 file...How can I make my voice louder and more clear without screaming at the top of my lungs and being too close to the mic, using mixcraft 5.2 and the Blue Snowball microphone?
Try adding the Classic Compressor effect to the vocal track and experiment with the different presets.

Blue Snowball Microphone FRAPS and Blue Snowball are not compatible?
Yeah so, FRAPs is supposed to be able to record gameplay and record your microphone at the same time, however FRAPs won't recognize my Blue Snowball USB microphone, what gives? Is there anyway to fix this? It is really annoying.
If you use a USB sound card, technically you can't record the sound.
In this case, you shoud use other sound cards.
See a solution below:
1. Windows XP user
1) Select the 'Open volume control' option in the system tray and run the 'Volume control' window
2) Select the 'Properties' from the 'Volume control' window.
3) Change the "Mixer device" from "USB Sound Card" to "AC97 Sound" at the top of the 'Properties'
4) If you can't find AC97 or other sound devices, you can't record sound.
...
2. Windows Vista/7 user
1) Open the 'Playback Devices' option by pushing the button the right side of the tray icon (Lower right side on the window).
2) Select the 'Property' option under the 'Speakers' option
3) Check the 'Use this device (enable)'.
4) If you can't find "Speakers", you can't record sound.
How do you get that 'whispy' type glow to your voice like she has?
Is it the type of microphone? What kind of editing can you do to have it sound like that?
By the way, would a Blue Snowball Condenser Microphone do that?
