sennheiser Cx300 S

Which earbuds are best (sound quality + comfort + longevity)?
My skullcandy smokin buds died recently. So far, they are my favorite pair of buds. I bought some koss sparkplugs to replace them (I have koss over the ear headphones which are awesome) and they were, to put it gently, absolute trash. Should I buy
-another pair of skullcandy smokin buds
-skullcandy ink'd buds
-sennheiser CX300's
-Denon AH-C452K
If you have any other recommendations, let me know. My price limit is $50. I listen to older rock music (Guns N' Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver, AC/DC atc.) So big bass isn't necessary (although i need tight bass to clearly hear the bass guitar)
If you loved the skullcandy smokin buds, i would recommend that you get the same ones you already have come to know and love. I would be very afraid to buy some that i have never experienced. If possible you should see if anyone you know has any of these listed earbuds and test them to your music. This is probably the only way you can for sure know which ear bud type is for you!

best in ear headphones for under $50?
I'm looking for a pair of earbuds for under $50, they'll be used mostly for riding the bus, when I'm walking to class, and at the gym. I've been seeing the Sennheiser CX300's pop up a lot and am leaning towards these. Headphones will be used for mostly hip-hop and rock music
Sony and Altec-Lansing both have several choices in that price range with bass boost. I have both and highly recommend them.
